Nathan was from Santa Cruz, Nayarit. He studied to be a Civil Engineer at the Technological Institute of Tepic. He also loved music and played clarinet in a live band on weekends to earn money to help pay for his education. He also played trombone! Sadly, Nathan died in a vehicular accident in 2021 before completion of his degree.
