I am a retired single person, sister of Fritz Baker, an early sponsor of the Scholarship Program. I grew up in Walla Walla, Washington and, after graduating from college, moved to Northern California, where I married and had three children. Ten years ago, I returned to the Walla Walla area and now live in the Blue Mountains about twenty miles from town. Fritz introduced me to the Scholarship Program during one of my visits to Mexico. I have been pleased to be a sponsor for several years and plan to continue contributing to the program. I feel strongly that learning is the key to a better future. Education can open the door to meaningful experiences, opportunities, and a better life for I individuals and their families. The success of this program is very gratifying to me and I am happy to continue my support.
